Since the establishment, the Department of Hydraulic Engineering has cultivated over 6,000 undergraduates, nearly 900 master graduates, 200 doctors and over 100 engineering masters. Our graduates are distributed all over the world, most of whom are serving in the forefront of national hydraulic and hydropower construction. A large number of graduates from the Department of Hydraulic Engineering are the backbones of our country, who are academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, national designers, chief engineers of major hydraulic and hydropower engineering, directors of engineering bureau, deans of design institute, mayors, ministers, and leaders of the Party and our country.
